    Powell's Malt

IMHO this is very good malt. It is all personal preference in the end. There have been many discussions about this malt on here and one thing that I think was agreed on by many who have used it was it's lower efficiency rate. Usually around 65% for a single infusion mash unless you do a step...

Hi Brewmeister70, I'll happily give you as many kilos as you need. I don't want anything for it. Only problem for you is that I am in Werribee. If you are willing to make the trip you can have it. Too bad it wasn't last weekend as I was in Mooroolbark all Saturday and could have bought it with...

    Tell The Truth

Well I would brew kits if I couldn't do AG. And if I was wealthy enough I probably would not even brew. I would just get all my favourite beers delivered to me and post up on the "What in the glass thread". I cannot beleive the way some people go on about AG.

    Tell The Truth

    Tell The Truth

I do it for the taste. It is so much better than cans, for me anyway. As soon as I tried my first AG which was in a LHBS I was converted and knew that I had to do it. cheers johnno

    The Crush

Darn it. 45 minutes into the boil now. Can I reverse the whole process. Will the tannins extracted form those 120 grains wreck my brew? You blokes spoilt my day now :P .. LOL cheers johnno

    The Crush

Hi Wes, Thanks for the tip. Yes my gap is set quite wide. This is due to my rollers spinning way to fast. I purchased Millet Mans (thanks mate) previous mill and that is how it came. The problem is that because of the fast spin it has a problem gripping the grain if I close the gap up any more...
