IMHO this is very good malt.
It is all personal preference in the end. There have been many discussions about this malt on here and one thing that I think was agreed on by many who have used it was it's lower efficiency rate. Usually around 65% for a single infusion mash unless you do a step...
heh..good concept. Lots of reading there. And lots of links going of on beer trips.
I especially liked the link I found to Democracy's Drink.

Well I would brew kits if I couldn't do AG.
And if I was wealthy enough I probably would not even brew. I would just get all my favourite beers delivered to me and post up on the "What in the glass thread".
I cannot beleive the way some people go on about AG.
I do it for the taste. It is so much better than cans, for me anyway.
As soon as I tried my first AG which was in a LHBS I was converted and knew that I had to do it.

Lukes,
yes it did alright last season. First pic was March last year just before harvest.
This year I am punishing it. Have not proped it up or watered it even. I really want those roots to go down deep. That's it just laying on the ground. There will be no crop from it this year.
The ekg in...
Darn it. 45 minutes into the boil now. Can I reverse the whole process. Will the tannins extracted form those 120 grains wreck my brew?
You blokes spoilt my day now :P .. LOL

Hi Wes,
Thanks for the tip. Yes my gap is set quite wide. This is due to my rollers spinning way to fast. I purchased Millet Mans (thanks mate) previous mill and that is how it came. The problem is that because of the fast spin it has a problem gripping the grain if I close the gap up any more...
