    I doubt raw sugar is what its name implies I bet it is refined sugar with a bit of molasses or partially refined not sugar cane crushed and dried as the name suggests will work the same and the brew maybe a have a hint of caramel

    I altered the James Squire copy recipe of Golden Ale to lower the alcohol as I sometimes like a low alcohol brew Don't know if it is a good copy but it is a good drink

    use fresh leaves from the bush out the back , just pick and give a good wash with clean water i use a small leaf in a 475ml grolsh bottle

    I make some low alcohol (2.9 %) beer and just to be different I add 1 lemon myrtle leaf to each bottle after bulk priming like a carona different can do as many as you like

    pear juice , because of the same sort of sugars as apple juice, will still ferment lactose does the trick
