Hag Day At Jagged Reef Restaurant

I'd also like to echo the comments above. The beers and pizza's were exceptional, and the company was equally as good. They really did a top job matching the beers and pizzas. Didn't think Id be a fan of a desert pizza but along side the Best Extra Porter it went down really well. Thanks Shawn...

Hag Day At Jagged Reef Restaurant

Yes I'm in also. Sounds like it should be a top afternoon. Looks like some great beers will be there (on top of the already impressive beer menu at that restaurant) and the food at Jagged Reef is the goods also. Cheers

    Deus Brut Flanders

It's a great beer but yes at $50-$60 a bottle not really one you have often. I've never tried to make one but the Maltose Falcons did and its quite a good read. Here is the link. Good luck.

Murrays Grand Cru In Stubbies Mmmmm

Have you tried Warners schooey? I got some of the Murrays Pilsner there a few weeks back so I would think they would get the Grand Cru in. They do have the Grand Cru in the 750ml bottles. Cheers

Hag 2008 Xmas In July Case Swap!

haha I didn't really think I'd have much of a issue finding volunteers to help out with the consumption :D I'll be bottling the majority of them so I'll make sure I swing some your way if they pass quality control. You do drink Eisbock's right?

Hag 2008 Xmas In July Case Swap!

I've got a few free weekends coming up so i'll definately be buying up. Got a big list of beers to brew and think I will do my best to get through them. The majority seem to be big lagers though so getting through them once they are done might be the only issue...

Next to no chance Dan Murphy's are going to get the beers from most/any of the breweries Leeboy stated Jdsaint. Unfortunate as it is. I agree with the beers from the breweries Leeboy posted, I had the opportunity to try beers from them all and they have all been fantastic. The only other I...

Hag 2008 Xmas In July Case Swap!

Not good news Tony, seems a little drastic though I reckon. All the beers I have had of yours have been top notch. I'm sure in the next 4 months you will be back on top of it all so why not give it a bit and see? I do know what the feeling is like though. I was in a bit of a rut with mine for a...

    Hag - Hunter Competition

So you did end up going the 120 mash 120 boil then? I did and it has just been put into one of the fermenting fridges. I ended up having to down a few smoked porters I brew a bit ago to use the 1028 in the bottom. So fingers crossed the starter kicks in and it should work out nicely.
