As I was lucky enough to win the last Stammtisch challenge it is now my responsibilty to announce the next challenge. I thought a wintery beer may be appropriate and to a style guideline rather than a set recipe but with a small twist. Again, this will be judged at the 2011...

I had a lot of fun brewing for this one, all the other entries I got to try were great too. I think most people liked the challenge of brewing to a style rather than a set recipe so i think the next challenge will be along these lines. Thanks to jayse, Raven and Boston for judging.

On my second bottle of starsan. Lids on both bottles failed in the couple of uses. Just use PET bottle caps to replace now, no issues.

I really like this hop. I use it in my Amber ales, citrusy like cascade but I get less grapefruit and more orange notes.
