Is it just my memory fading or was Tooheys draught actually fairly decent in the 80's? I remember it as the first beer I drank, around 1982 when I was 13, and I absolutely loved it. Maybe it was just youthful exuberance and totally no beer experience at all.

Since he mentioned Coopers I thought he was talking about an Australian Pale Ale, like Coopers Pale Ale. About the only hops he mentioned that are good for that are the POR.

You can check at Dan's website. They'll even tell you how many bottles they have in stock. As for Holgate, doesn't look like they have it.

I bought some of them a while back. They really are solid and heavy glasses. I've bought quite a variety from them. I've been getting into some of the English beers recently so I ordered some 570ml Crown dimple mugs but they are on backorder. Probably my favourite glass is this one...
