Funny you should say that. It's actually my great aunt ties table. I felt a bit guilty hacking into it with the multi tool. [emoji54]

Tap list looks so tasty! Do you think you can relocate the bar to Kinglake Yob? I can't wait to get down there for a sample but getting home is gunna be a real problem!

The 2017 Melbourne Grain Bulk Buy

No, in the end there was no room for the little fella. There was no choice but to leave him in the CB warehouse. He will be put on a pallet and shipped off next week.

    2018 Hop Plantations

I use doubled up baling twine too. It's handy to tuck the tips in between the two strands to train them in the right direction. Also 5 months in the sun weakens the twine so doubling up is a good idea.

Vic 2017 Xmas in July Case Swap

Been in the keg for 1 week now so I had to have a sneaky sample. It's very nice! Thick and delicious. Little bit floral? Wasn't expecting that. Definitely taste the alcohol but should be bloody good once it mellows a bit.

Trying something new today. Using my 90 Ltr kettle and a big BIAB bag with the Herms. I cut some stainless perf and sat it ontop of a colander to make a false bottom. Seems to be going smoothly[emoji6]. 70 Ltrs of water and 12kg of grain is pretty well maxed out. Hoping to get 2 cubes of 1.060...

Distilling anti foam conditioner to prevent Krausen & Boilovers

My first yeast explosion happened today. Good times. Wyeast Scottish Ale yeast. Attempted RIS dumped onto the cake from the second runnings from the same brew. Airlock must have been clogged and when I pulled it out it exploded all over the fridge! Took a while to clean up.[emoji50]
