    Grain Bulk Buy - Syd

Sheet is made, but I can't verify my account. It's not sending me the verification email. As soon as it does this I can share the file. Will post the link once that is done. Re: uncracked grain. I would say it would be no worries for 12 months. Will keep much longer (I found some 5 yr old...

    Step Mashing Methods

My first AG was a decoction, and it was really no harder. I just had a cheapo 20L pot on the side i was heating on an old camping BBQ burner to grin gup the temp of some of the mash. Worked out great and wasn't difficult at all. As was said earlier, I wouldn't be afraid of it at all.

Sydney City Roosters In The Grand Final?

Easts were the better team for the majority of the match but they still weren't fantastic. They will need to be much better next week no matter who they play from the other side of the draw. Hopefully the Tigers can get there and give some payback for the first week of the finals.

    Experience With Wyeast 1968

Hey guys, I know I've dug up an old topic here, but is this yeats good for a pale ale? It looks like it definitely suits english bitters but I'm after something which will go well in a pale but not be too fruity or malty.

Comments And Recommendatinos On A Simple Apa

Hi all, After a long hiatus I've decided it's time to get off my ass and set my berw gear back up. So I'm frantically gettign some bits and bobs together for a new mash tun etc. and have started formulating a few recipes which should be reasonably easy to put down. How does the below look...

    Laser Eye Surgery

Both my oldies had it done. Apparently for their one they only needed one eye done each. The other adjusts and does whatever. but they've had no probs at all since doing it.

    Sourcing Solenoids?

Unfortunately our solenoids at work on circuit breakers normally fail terminally by burning out the coil. But for this to happen you either need an overvoltage or sustained current. The sustained current is cause by something mechanically wrong. It appears you caught yours in time so cleaning...

    Ag Recipe Books.

Designing great beers by Ray Daniels was a great book I had. Gave you a base for most styles more or less and then you oculd play from there to get exactly what you were after. I would highly recommend it. I need to get another copy. Unfortunately the missus turfed it whne she last got a bag of...

    Western Sydney Bottlo

It was up for sale so I'm guessing it finally went and the new owners may be running it more along the lines of a conventional bottle shop. Sad to see really but understandable to a degree in a town like this.

Nsw Xmas Case 2006 - Consumption

Thanks Goatherder, I'll have to put another in the fridge and see how it is now. I wasn't overly happy with it at first as i *******ised another recipe and this ended up further away from the original than i had planned. It tasted a little low on hops to me at the beginiing, but hopefully that...

Nsw Xmas Case 2006 - Consumption

Wel i started on my case tonight. I had a bottle of mine which was only half full but it seemed to condition up ok. I backed well off the bittering i gave this beer last time, and I'm regretting it. I wanted something mor bitter than this, but not as bitter as the last time i brewed this beer...
