    Spiral Burner Emergency

if you have access to a air compressor try and blow it out, you might be able to take to the servo and use the tyre pump if you're desperate. also try and brush the gas outlets with a wire brush, how long have you sued it for ? wash it out with methanol or something similar and LEAVE TO DRY if...

    F@#k You Benjamin Franklin

this is true, however the only flaw is I doubt I'd stop at one given my current pissed offness. Also alcohol an bowling machines don't mix to well, shame really. Aaron

    F@#k You Benjamin Franklin

I hate daylight savings, set my phone last night before leaving work to coinside with daylight savings. Needless to say so did my phone, so rather than losing 1 hour of sleep I lost 2, I need a beer but cant have any until I leave work later on this afternoon. Aaron

So A Mate Of Mine Does Kits...

Any hops about the place mate ? With the crystal you could soak a couple of hundred grams in hot water add it to the blonde, wont change the flavour much, will improve head retention and a bit more body to it. Why not get him to split up a 20L batch it 2 or 4 lots (if the capacity is there)...

So A Mate Of Mine Does Kits...

Why not get him a tin of coopers SA or PA or something along those lines with some of the medium crystal. Make a nice goldeny type ale, even through in some goldings or amarillo hops. Might work out to be a nice beer. Aaron

    Freezer Conversion

Do you have the specs for teh amp rate for both the freezer and the temp controller? Might be worth giving the brew shop a yell and asking them. Aaron

    Freezer Conversion

Did you make the controller yourself, (like the ones from jaycar). If so it may be a loose conection or a bogus one. If not I'd bring the controller back to where you bought it from and ask for a new one. Aaron

    Cleaning Copper Pipe

You can buy glacial acetic acid, this is pure acetic acid with no water. When you want to make up a solution just ad 100ml to 2 litres of water and this will give you a 5% v/v solution. Aaron

    Washers For Bulkhead. Zinc Plated?

Not sure about food grade but you are right about the acidity factor. Zinc will react with all sorts of acids, ever make a lemon battery? uses a galvanised nail and copper coin to run a clock or something else along those lines. Stay away from them unless your building a veranda. Aaron

Hey Guys, Ok so heres the sotry. Recently have spent a fair bit of cash on brewing gear, this includes a fridge which I plan to, in the near future, to use for kegs. Mash Tun Q

I used it as when I started brewing and wanted to go AG cash was a bit tight so opted for the braid, seriously though I've never had any issues with it, as far as efficincy goes I'm not sure, so long as the beer tastes good I'm not complaining. Aaron

    Two Brews One Yeast

you should be fine. Just on a side note with yeast you can "farm" a strain and have it there ready to make a starter with, you generally need to make the starter a few days before you brew but its a good way to have yeast there ready to go when you need them. Also saves on money too. Aaron

    Nasa Burner Blowing Out Etc?

Bought myself a nasa a month or so ago and had the same problem. As bud has already suggested give it a clean, from memory the burner part is in two, the plate with the groves for outing the gas, and the rest of the burner assembly. the underside of the little plate needs a rub down with a wire...

    Fridge Question

This actually is a good idea, when i was given the dimensions of the fridge i didn't take into account the freezer, if the freezer was out of the way then it's smooth sailing. making the fridge deeper will give me floor area where there is no freezer. Awesome looks like that's a go then.
