IIRC most, if not all RTD's in the US are 'malt based beverages'. Done to minimise exise on the product, much as in ths case. I'm surprised there haven't been more product like this put out already....

I have a couple of Celli's. They're great. :) Don't have to arse around with long beer lines in the fridge, or balancing pressures.... If I were to buy them again tho, I would get the stainless ones. After a couple of years use with soda water, one of mine is shedding it's chrome lining...

By sucking rather than pushing your beer through a filter, you run the risk of pulling out dissolved gasses from the liquid. (there will be a lot of dissolved CO2, post fermentation, even if the beer isn't bubbly) Sounds like a recipe for making lots of foam. :)
