    Wort Cooling Idea

Looks like a Ghetto Brewer Setup. Didn't pay the money for an immersion chiller and not a bad lazy man's way of doing it. The only major problem that I see is the lack of surface area. Compared to an immersion chiller, the heat transfer it greatly restricted. Thus longer chilling time. None...

Yeast Starter - Using Non-brewing Liquid Malt Extract

I was thinking getting a kit, but don't really have any way to store it. At least with a can of NB-LME I can close the tin up. As you said Beer4U, I also decanter and use only the slurry of a starter.

Yeast Starter - Using Non-brewing Liquid Malt Extract

Hey all, I'm in a bind and cannot get to one of my LHBS for some DME for a yeast starter. Do you think there's going to be any issues if I make a starter from a can of non-brewing malt extract from the supermarkets? I believe the liquid malt extract is for the likes of milkshakes and such.

    Upright Fridge - Door Extension

Well, I was able to test fit the 4 cornie's into the fridge today. All 4 only just fit. No room for C02 bottle inside unfortunately. Looks like it'll have to go outside somewhere. Will also have to build a stronger shelf or supports for the existing shelf if I'm ever going to have 4 kegs in...

    Upright Fridge - Door Extension

To be totally honest, the kegs only arrived today and have not tried to fit them in. It's something that's been playing on my mind of late and thought about future proofing. I'll do a fitting session first I think. :)

    Upright Fridge - Door Extension

Hey all, A while ago I scored a neat upright fridge without the freezer compartment at a work auction for $30. (Life is so sweet when you're the only homebrewer at work sometimes  _ I've used it extensively as a fermenting or bottle conditioning cabinet and it has done me proud. However...

Where Is Grumpy's Hoegaarden Partial Recipe

Hey all, I've been scouring the forums for Grumpy's Hoegaarden Partial recipe, but at the end of each post all I find is a dead link to the Brewhaus website. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the recipe at all? X

How Does This Sound For A Quick Keg Filler?

Passionfruit & Blackcurrent aromas... interesting. My tastebuds are saying to me: Cluster@30min Galaxy@10min, Dryhop both. Giving a more berry taste and passionfruit nose-blast. Keep us updated with Tasting notes.
