    Another non homebrew for me, as im running very low. <_< But a very tasty beer none the less. Maes........An imported Belgian lager. Very malty, with a nice hop finish. Anyone tried this ?, any thoughts ? Quite like it myself.

    As far as cloning goes......Grumpys Theakstons kicks butt !! Awesome rich Ale. I mean awesome !!! If i bought a bottle for 5 bucks.........i'd be very happy. As a rich Ale, its up with the best ive ever sampled.

    Tried to chase down a Chimay Blue today, couldnt find one. Ended up with a couple of Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruits. At 5 dollars each for a 330 Ml Bottle, i expected bliss :wub: in a bottle. I was dissapointed :( Dont get me wrong, it was very nice.........a lovely rich ale, nice for warming...

    If beer didnt taste so good, we wouldnt have this debate. :P Heres a tip that gets me through, when i feel i need a day or two off. Grab a six pack of Birrell, or very low alcohol beer.........have a few, and enjoy the malt and hops without the alcohol. Call that your AFD. It doesnt work...

    Coopers Pilsener Temperature

    Age it.....i had a few Coopers brews that a mate of mine had brewed in the high twentys, Lager and Bitter. At 8 months old they are pretty good. As good as any Coopers products you can buy. Aging kit beers is the key to enjoying them.
