    Inline temp probe method

I know it's not what you're looking for, but I just went through the side of my crown, quick point punch and step bit and was done in a few minutes.

Careless brewer rant: underboiling & miscalculated efficiency

Rant or otherwise, acknowledging your mistakes and learning from them, good on you. Faeces hurling might have something to do with it too, keep that out of the brewery.

    Best VPN

Yes it can. Telstra I wouldn't be surprised if they ****** with connections to known VPN servers I've heard people getting abominably slow speeds on VPN with Telstra cable. I pay $80 for 500gb at 50/10 could have got Telstra cable for $20 more but would suffer for upload and I don't fancy...

    Do I have a leak?

Weight is all that matters, as TSMill says. A full bottle will be around 500psi when full and you won't even see it move until it's got about 300-400 grams left in it. I wrote the tare weight on mine so I know what to expect, the tare stamped on the bottle often doesn't include the valve so...

Kegging Setup CO2 leak - driving me insane

Get what you mean but not the first time, but when you take it off the stuff is shredded and bits of it can get anywhere, could easily get decent sized particles down the core and in to the reg. While unlikely, you shouldn't need to do it anyway and for the risk of blowing a reg and having a...

    Where to start?

Concur. I made this in a 25L willow esky with a gran bag and 3 kmart pots on the stove. Made a huge ******* mess but the results were great.

Kegging Setup CO2 leak - driving me insane

Tape = no no, you'll get bits of the crap down the inside of the regulator, great way to turn it in to a paper weight. Dunno about lube, but as long as you made it a very very thin amount it might be OK. For a 50c part though I'd say just replace and do it up ******* tight

Kegging Setup CO2 leak - driving me insane

Maybe already covered but the nylon seal should be replaced every time you remove the regulator, take a look at an old one the face won't be completely flat it will have a compression that won't always get pressed against in exactly the same place.

IIPA, will it work with BIAB?

If you really get in a pinch, you can always add extract to bring the gravity up... Brew within your means :D :D It's common to brew with a thick mash but I think this would be a bit too thick. The reiterated mash idea is probably the most sound, with such a large Another option is brew a...
