    White Rabbit Dark Ale Clone

sorry for the silly question, but.... l_bomb's extract version cannot be done with simple steeping? does it need to be a mash? also, steeping is more or less soaking cracked grains in hot water? and mashing is steeping ground grains? sparging is just washing through the grain sock hot water...

    White Rabbit Dark Ale Clone

I'd add the Carafa at sparge too just to see what effects this has on the flavour cheers mate didnt realize u do grains seperately. i would have just put them all in together and steeped for 40 mins. mmmmm maybe this recipe not for me then :( EDIT: oh and your 0min add of cascade is that...

    Crown V Swing Top Bottles

aye? there are still a number of companies using crown seals. crownies, little creatures, gage roads, coopers tallies, guiness, the list goes on, alot of premium beers still use them. i personally would love to get hold of some old grolsh bottles but they are costly when they do(rarely) pop up...

When To Rack To Secondary ?

+1 for not racking 2 secondary if u can get away with it. to me its just an extra chance at infection, and probly more importantly, oxidation. so i dont bother, coldcrash primary- rack to second to bulk prime - works a treat. just as u rack have your can a couple of inches from the top and move...

    Coopers Aussie Pale

that was my first thought also. but as explained by megs, carapills are only 3-5 where as others are much higher, this means that with the carapills u can use much more of them. it kinda makes sense when i think about it but i will just have to wait and c how the 23 ltrs of evidence turns out i...
