I didn't get the Cannular I got mine off Gumtree for $250 with a load of cans mine is one of the Alibaba ones. Needed a clean up but I have tried it out with some coca cola and everything seems hunky dory.

Here is a top idea, a guy on HBT was selling them for $24 with a silicone seal a Mason Jar fits onto the large plate and gets held in position with a screw on lid tri clover fitting to valve.

Agree with Mark, -2 C and the freezing can start, high ABV should be fine but I wouldn't go any lower.

I got my 50 litre delivered today, happy that I don't have to make a new measuring stick just extend my calibrations. My neighbour has the Brewzilla 65 litre, he reckons he got a lemon, cuts out during the mash, though its all right on the boil. Looking forward to some brewing wars with him.:)

Would have been a good idea to post photos up where applicable, would any purchaser of the 55 litre fermenter have to buy the special fermenting fridge also? Why is the cone geometry better? Surely the narrower angle of the old model would be better for the yeast to drop, I only have the snubbie...

Nothing to stop you carbonating and serving straight from the snubby or transferring to a keg. Quite a lot of posts on the later end of the KK Fermentasaurus conical Pet fermenter thread.

You have to look at things with a more critical eye, I wouldn't be reading a thread about one brewer and his dirty ball valve to make me change my modus operandi, and that probably goes for hundreds of thousands of brewers who use ball valves. For me I would be thinking what his cleaning regime...
