    Beer Can Chicken

    I do this ocassionally and the family love it. Use a coke can half filled with Guinness. Over the top of the chicken (and inside) I use a BBQ rub something along the lines of: Italian herbs Paprika Salt Raw sugar Mix together and pat all over (and in) the chicken.

    My Lime Infused Beer - 'mexican Madness'

    I used Kaffir leaves in a mint lime brew that I threw together in a carboy. The smell was overpowering but during fermentation faded. Initial tasting was quite strong in taste but after some conditioning time in the bottle mellowed to just a delicious aftertaste! I'm going to do that brew again...

    I love drinking it! It makes me happy, therefore I consider it good for me! :)

    Brewclub In The South West?

    I'm down in Denmark and have not come across any other HB'ers here either. The only shop selling homebrew gear has a few cans of LME covered in dust and that is about it.

    Just using up the second last of my kit and kilo kits so I'm doing the following brew: 1.8kg Brewcraft Irish Stout 1kg dark DME Safale S04 yeast Get it out of the way and get onto some good extract brews!

    I'm just returning to brewing after gewtting fed up with the kit & kilo method and stopping for ages. I'm attempting extract brewing and much prefer working with dry ingredients. My question is is "malt" that you can get from homebrew shops the same as "malt extract" or are they two different...
