    Crown caps

http://brewerschoice.com.au/shop/bottling/caps-crown-seals-green-250/ $8.50 for 250 so $0.034 per cap is surprisingly cheaper than brewcrafts $401 for 10,000 at $0.041 Plus with the 250 deal you have more freedom to get different colours. Bottles look heaps better with a nice coloured cap for...

    Crown caps

I may have not been clear. they have a variety of colours. Each 250 pack is the one colour though. They have red, black, white, gold, green and maybe one other? not too sure

    Crown caps

At the moment I'm paying $8 for 250 for a variety of colours at brewers choice. Surprised that I can't see anything like this at craft brewer.

    First Lager

is it a good idea to Lager in the keg you intend on serving the beer in? If so, how is this done? Put in the gas for the full lagering process? I don't really know anything about kegging... I'm using a friends keg and he could probably help me with this but he is not very experienced either.

    Mountain Goat Ipa

I'm going to give this a crack on the weekend combining the fourstar recipe quoted above and the original email from MG. However, the website (http://www.goatbeer.com.au/the-beer/india-pale-ale/) has it at 6.2% abv and 65 IBUs. I fully realise that the MG IPA has changed over the years. I love...

    Stone And Wood Ale Recipe

2 weeks in the bottle. I realise that longer would be better but all of the books I've read say it should be carbonated by then

    Stone And Wood Ale Recipe

i see. I don't have beer smith at our brewery so I just use an online calculator. When I do the calculation I should just be putting in the volume that will actually be bottled into these calculators, right? maybe the scales are off because this beer was pretty close to flat.

    Coffee Stout

I am adding coffee to half of my Oatmeal Stout which is fermenting right now. I'll bottle half, then add cold steeped coffee to the second half and bottle it. Any suggestions on how much I should be putting in? I'm seeing mixed responses everywhere...

    Hop Hog Clone

so has anyone made one of these recently? I'm brewing an IPA in two weeks and the gang really loves hop hog. Not really looking to clone it, just want to make something where the bitterness is balanced with the american/australian hop flavour & aromas.

    Stone And Wood Ale Recipe

So I only carbonated to 2.2 volumes because I'm a rookie. This was no where near enough. It tasted heaps better from the stubbie as opposed to out of a glass where the lack of carbonation was much more noticeable. Flavour wise I could have told myself I was drinking Stone & Wood's version...

    Bittering hops in a stout

I was avoiding a trip to the LHBS but turns out I have to go anyway to do someone a favour. Ill just get some East Kent while I'm there. Unfortunately it's a brewers choice so ill be paying close to $10 for 60 bloody grams. Thanks for your advice people. In this case if the noble hops will get...
