Yeast strain: wyeast 2306 Base Grain: Pilsen malt (best malz) Specialty grain: caravienne Hop: tettnang!! Nothing really versatile here except for the pislner malt (extreemly versatile) i guess. I think you can see what my taste in beer is!!

Come one i have never asked a 'my airlock isnt bubbling' quesion (i think...)! I had an infection the last time i used it. i my brew fridge i have one other fermenter as well and that one came out fine. Is there supposed to be some clips? I don't think i have any? I just pop the lid on.

Thanks BN, No worries, nitpick away! Thats what i am on the forum for! In a normal 'air-tight' fermenter the 'gas' would escape through an airlock, that is sort of what i meant to communicate. This thing is like fermenting in a pot with the lid on. I contemplated doing it in 'criss-cross'...

Thanks Mate, Thats what i have done. I would usually make a starter if i was using that yeast though, so lets hope it goes alright! And On the 2308 i agree. I have made many a marzen with that. Its probably why i had it lying around and didnt know it.

Yeah, but its already been in there a day. The way i see it i either have killed off the yeast or created funky ones. Should i take a hydro reading to see if the yeast has done anything. If not, throw in the s33? Other options? Reboil and pitch?

Hi Guys, Just trying to make my brew days more efficient. I was just wondering whats the longest i can leave fermented beer in a bottling bucket for? Was just planning on putting it in there and letting it sit for a couple of hours so i can clean a couple of things at the same time. Cheers, Losp
