Grab a product called Goof Off it removes all kinds of sticky stuff, its made from orange peel and natural products. Should be sold in hardware stores, i use to sell it when i was working in one.

would u know how long it would run for when it does turn on, reason being the fridge is old and i dont want it to die on me.

barls, how often would u think the temp controller would turn a fridge on and off each day to maintain the desired temp???

i ordered a mashmaster fridgemate during the week which does both heating and refrigeration but it does need to be wired up and installed in to a plastic box if u so wish.
