I'm having the same problem. I have 5 varieties planted and on the climb. The Hollertau and Williamette have the problem. From my reading, I believe they are burnt from the hot winds we have been getting. Definitely no critters involved, at least in my case. It would appear that some varieties...

I must say Steve, the quality of the rhizomes is excellent! The Tettnanger and Williamette I bought from you already have a healthy group of leaves, and that's only been 3 weeks. My Hallertauer is going off like a frog in a sock!! Cheers

I'm keen to try brewing Dr. Smurto's Ale, compromised for kit form. The recipe I found calls for TC Sparkling Ale which, as I believe, hasn't been available for some years'. Can anyone suggest a Coopers can that would be a suitable substitute? The Innkeepers Daughter Sparkling Ale perhaps...

Like many, I have been using cling wrap with the rubber seal from the lid, for some years. I also invariably dry hop. Touch wood, I've not had an issue, just remember to pop the cover off when kegging or bottling. Cheers
