Sounds like vinegar flies I have them at my too at my place, When I was a cellarhand in the wine game we used chloride once a week too scrub the floors clean any wine or juice residue that might be hiding on the floor. And they don't like sulphur as well.

Does filtering quicken the lagering process?

:icon_chickcheers: Me personally I tend too use the higher AA hops for my bittering or balancing, For flavour I'm more a POME steered with the northdown hops with aroma I suppose a nobble hop of your choice. That's the beauty of our brewing world is your oyster. :party:

Should I put it in the freezer? Will it do damage?

I know fresh is always best, but just wanting some info on storing cracked grain when having too is it better freezing, fridging? Is there a use by date when cracked?

Are the water filter cartridges fron bunnings able too cleaned and reused, using them for home brew? And is anything under 1 micron a overkill?
