Thanks guys, but looking at those kits I've made some bad beers with them in the past. I think I'll go down the AG path or at least partial. Anyone got anywhere to start?

cleaned out both fermenters again after bottling. As I'm hosing out the barrels, out comes the smell of dogsh1t. I tasted the stout while bottling and it tasted okay... the smell just came from the fermenter We'll see in two weeks time when I crack the first stubbie of Puppy Grogan Stout

Very impressive, just watch out if you load it with stubbies/longnecks.

Cleaned out the fermenter last weekend after doing a twocan stout. An unpleasant aroma was wafting around as I was hosing it out... kinda remeniscent of steamy dog turds. I'm not too sure what breed of dog, but as we don't have one, but I checked my shoes a few times. Failing to find any puppy...

I'm over comps. Why send away precious beer in precious longnecks, and pay someone to tell me how bad it is? I'll stick to trying it out on my New/VB swilling mates. Their standards are a lot easier to meet! :P

Hi there, Has anyone tried using 2 cans of coopers dark ale? Any other additions come to mind? I'm thinking of a smooth dark beer, almost stout like, for next winter. Clem :chug:
