    Well i took a sample yesterday (3 days fermenting) and it was at 1018. it was a really nice light colour and tasted pretty good too. my euro lager that i done had been in the bottle for nearly 5 weeks now. when i poured one at 4, it got a real nice head, but was still a bit flat. is that normal

    thanks for the help fellas. it seems to be doing well. krausen has formed so is fermenting ok. ill take a reading tomorrow prob. the sg was 1034. does that seem a little low

    cool. wat can i expect from this beer? im not expecting alot, but just wanted a quick one. its only my 2nd brew. my first was a euro lager with goldings hops. been in the bottle 4 weeks. still a tad flat but tastes great

    I stupidly didnt check my temp and pitched the yeast at 35 degrees. it then went straight into the fridge. now 3 hours later, its still only at 25. would the yeast survive or have i killed my brew. oh yea, its just a coopers lager with kit yeast and 1 kg be1. i just wanted a quickie lol

    thanks for the help everyone. its only in a small patch so i guess id get away with scrubbing it off with some bleach. im waiting for my bottles to finish conditioning in my fridge. been nearly 4 weeks so ill take them out on the weekend and start my next brew. prob a coopers blonde

    Not sure if its mould or if i didint clean my fermenter properly. I bottled about 3 weeks ago and since then my fermenter has sat with some sanitiser in the bottom of it.I noticed yesterday that there was some mouldy looking patches up top. Wats the best way of cleaning it so i can still use it

    What Temperature To Condition My Brew?

    im not planning on starting another brew until after the new year so they can stay in there. i know they wont be ideal but ive read that i can drink them after two weeks. so in another week, do i put them in the normal fridge to chill and then drink?
