Newbie struggling to naturally carbonate a corny..........!

Timmi the steps you mention are precisely what I am doing now - without purging. The only thing I can think of that is any different is the 15sec shake after racking............ Surely this can't be the reason. I clean keg with napisan, rinse thoroughly then sanitise with iodophor before...

Newbie struggling to naturally carbonate a corny..........!

I do have a mobile co2 set up. At the moment it is a 60lt Sodastream so ability to force carb limited. This is simply a serving set up until such time I can get a larger co2 setup. I can therefore purge using this but not a great idea to force carb I would have thought.

Newbie struggling to naturally carbonate a corny..........!

Looks like one issue is that I'm not purging the head with co2 after filling. Barls just curious why you would purge with c02 before adding anything?? I did start the thread with a beginner headline so be kind.

Newbie struggling to naturally carbonate a corny..........!

Yeah I'm pretty sure they are OK and they are different kegs so thought perhaps it was more my method rather than faulty equipment. Just to be on the safe side, I will change over seals.

Newbie struggling to naturally carbonate a corny..........!

OK so I'm having great difficulties naturally carbonating my corny kegs. First keg was a disaster, second keg had to be force carbed after 3 weeks at room temp (Anywhere from 14-20degs) and now my third keg (an amber ale) is slightly better than the second but not where it should be. The last...

    Another Noobie Thread

Seems to be Ok to start a thread to say hi and introduce myself so thought I would. After a few mths of convincing by a fellow forum member, I have ventured into the world of home brew. Going straight to All Grain and kegging as it works for my planned serving set up at home (poolside bar!!)...
