got one delivered last week. Quality is as expected for the price, thinnish stainless and the falsy is not great, however i only had 1
degree temp drop over an hour.

I bet the bloke doing the IBU testing was happy. Did he get those readings from his own personal taste test technique? haha. What amount of IBU's are you aiming for Kranky?
^^+1. I find i get clearer beer and don't have the problem of stirring up the trub when bulk priming later. There are pro's and con's for most methods in anything home brew related.
I'm on a similar preliminary 3v setup planning stage mate. I've had my 40l urn BIAB'ing for around 2years and its time to hit the next level. If/when you decide to take the leap i'd be interested to see how your build plans eventuate. :icon_cheers:

DR Smurto's golden was my first BIAB AG about 2years ago as well and is still a mainstay in my brewing calendar inbetween making probably too many high gravity IPA's. www.biabrewer.info is a pretty good forum with plenty of info on single vessel brewing.
