    Another Kesky

Broccoli box from the supermarket. Top cut off, gaffa tape, a bag of ice. Good for a day. Some sort of mobile tap. Soda steam bottle fits in one corner of the box.

    Getting a mate into brewing...

Looks good to me but don't use the kit yeast. Grab an SO4. It will also take some ageing, about 2 months will be the sweet spot.

With the voile you don't have to let it sit just get the boiled water in and wide open throttle the tap. Then repeat. It went a bit slow at the start I just lifted the bag a little and away it went, then I dropped the bag back down and it continued.

Started about 67 finished about 65.5, I did a fair bit of checking temp and it is also cold where I live ATM. I think the finish crush and using a bag inside the tune as well as a good batch spare helped. My tun is an old rectangular Esky, ball valve in the side and some stainless braid, sourced...

2 rollers is all that is necessary. Only drive one. Mine is about 5 or 6 in wide, probably a bit wide as a fair bit of torque is required. Bearings would be nice but not really necessary, I had access to bearings but also brass and decided that either way it will outlast me... I hope. Good luck...

Yeah the adjustment is via the cap head screws on the side with a nut to hold the frame tight. The brass bush slides in and out and is forced out by the grain, if you know what i mean. After what D Stu said about my crush i put some swiss voile in my dodgy mash tun to avoid a stuck mash and...

Nearly 3kg. It is deceptively large.

About 0.8mm, i will try with a cordless drill set to "low" next time. It does have a tendancy to make too much flour with the 240v drill.

Yeah it is adjustable, ill get the verniers onto my licence tomorrow and see what that is. They are probably 30mm.... Yeah I just pulse my drill, it can get a bit stinky though, but it eats grain like a fat kid with cake. Mmmmmmm stainless. :icon_drool2:

25 mm I think, and licence size gap. My drivers licence goes in with not too much force. I made it last year and have forgotten what size exactly they were. It is probably a bit finer than last time I used it. I have done a bit of adjustment to the rollers and hopper. Also screwed it to my bit...

Basically you just have to break it down to its components then make each one. You start with the two rollers. Bigger is better, I think I used 30mm round bar stepped down for the axles and left the shaft for the drill. You then knurl the rollers. You obviously need a metal lathe. Next are the...
