Do a search on ebay and go for a new Deiman or Keg King one, filled for about $180.

I got mine from one of those guys and it is a good cylinder properly stamped for Aussie standards etc.

good luck, CO2 cylinders are one of those things like a good burner or pump or grain mill, they don't tend to be sold secondhand :p My advice, as above, would be to go and pick up something from here http://www.mykegonlegs.com.au/gas_products.php - check out the location page to make sure there's a refiller (or at least a swapper) nearby.

Give Supagas a ring and ask them about there 6Kg bottle..you buy outright and then you swap and go..i was quoted $150 FULL..getting one later this week

Yeah i called them up, that seems to be the best price, although they said that if you buy the bottle outright, you have to wait a week for it to get filled, but it will last 50 kegs so not too worried.

Im in the same boat mate. I am in eastern suburbs of melbourne. Im chasing up a fire supply mob at the moment, if it works out i will let you know where to go. If that doesnt work, keg king in springvale seem to be the best deal. *no affiliations*

I did the Keg King deal on a 6kg bottle a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like the Supagas deal of $150 for a 6kg is cheaper than what I got which was over $200 with bottle and fill. I didn't realise you could now get bottles outright at Supagas. If that price is true it's a ripper and I'd say stick with it.

Looked like crazy for Air Liquide contacts but couldn't find any ahead of purchasing mine. Another place to check out pricing if you could locate a depot.

Hopper.

Is that $150 outright? Think i will grab one tomorrow if it is!
The fire extinguisher joint wanted $250 for an extinguisher with the correct fittings and dip tube removed....The guy then went on to try and sell me a kegs-on-legs cylinder for $370...hahaha. Think he must have shares.
