Speaking to my LHBS yesterday. He told me a man came in and bought 10 corny kegs, gas bottle, beer lines, gas lines and pluto gun to give to his son who likes homebrew. Next day LHBS got a phone call from a young bloke asking for bulk wort. LHBS was a bit thrown by the question and explained he has fresh wort kits if thats what you mean? But not in bulk. Young bloke said yeah suppose that'll do, ive just been given 10 kegs and gas bottle etc etc and I need some wort to put in them. LHBS was now very baffled. Next question from the young chap was "whats wort anyway?" LHBS realised this poor young bloke didnt quite understand that you have to brew/ferment the wort or tins of goo to make beer to put in the kegs. Young chap was quite a bit perplexed by all this and seemed not very interested. "that sounds like too much work to me" was what he said. Amazing hey?
