As an Australian-born, British-bred mongrel, I'm going for a 3-0 win for Australia, with only the weather saving the Poms from worse humiliation. But I have been wrong once or twice before I guess. So what do you predict folks?

I have $30 riding on the pom's winning one test, but I'm the worst punter and don't think that they will manage this small feat. 5-0 Aussies.

It won't be 5 zip to Australia, that's for sure. All the Poms need are 3 draws, or 2 and a win and the Ashes are gaawwwnnnnnnn...............

Australia 3, England 1, 1 draw.

Stuart McGill back for the Sydney Test sending a few sideways and taking Man of the Match...........as long as he doesn't keep throwing up those full tosses

Cheers.

4-1 With England taking one of the two dead rubbers in either Melbourne or Sydney.

No sign of serious rain anywhere, so can't see a draw the way we play cricket these days.

3 - 1 to Oz with rain in Sydney providing the draw.

Looking on the money so far....... B)

And hopefully some of the rain extends as far south as Canberra

Obviously neither of you have spent much time in Sydney recently. The Sydney match will be a result inside 4 days.

I suspect the one match England will win as per my prediction previsouly will be in Melbourne. With Harmison and Panesar taking 15+ wickets between them. Then, after hitting it for 3 days because they finally won a game, we will trounce them by an innings in Sydney.

Well, good call Aussie Claret. Wish it had been a closer series really to make it all a bit more exciting, but a good farewell to Warne, McGrath, Langer (and Martyn) I guess. Now for a whitewash (against the Poms anyway, probably not the Kiwis) in the one dayers.

Well I never would have thought 5-0. Adelaide was the one, England declaring at 6-550 and still losing, amazing that I got to see the final day.

I just don't think that England had the hunger.

Edit: And how was Warnies sledge to Collingwood "You scored 7 runs and received an MBE?" Priceless.

"It's an embarrassment mate" Jonathan Agnew loved it. I always though Aggers was a bit of a snob, but him loving the sledging going on gave me a whole new perspective. Great stuff!

I went to day 1 of the Sydney test. JL was having a ball listening to the Barmy Army in the last session. Dressed up as Roy after the big hundred he knocked up in Melbourne.

I thought the quip he threw at Mahmoud from the slips was a clanger as well... As Mahmoud was taking guard, warney chimed in "Lets send the Taxi Driver home now then...."!!!!

The game will miss him. However, the sound tecnician at 9 will probably breathe a sigh of relief.

7 seconds is an awfully short time to hit the kill switch on the stump microphone. There was a heap of **** flying around the day that Warne was hit for 6, and his (televised) retort was "F*cking Arsey c*nt"

And who could forget "Can't bowl, Can't throw"........ where is Scut Muller these days??

Well 5-0 twas but I reckon that the Poms might just get up and win one of the one dayers.

I should of had a couple of shillings on the 5-0 result.

As my Pommy boss says...

"Don't worry mate, we'll win 6-5!"
