What about the pasting the baby eels gave the sharks the week before? I'd like to add the eels led the titans 10-4 with 9 minutes to go. Havent't heard, but I imagine most of the stars were off the park by this stage.

Feeling very good about Parra this season.

So Parra CHOKED worse than a ST George team a week out from a Grand Final...at the start of a season!!

.....and the Dragons scored points in their semi.....unlike the eels who didnt get a single point in theirs B) ;) :beerbang:

come-on now , no need to rub it in that parra scored 0 points 1 game from away from gf! :p not he's fault the coach desided to walk out cause they were having hard times, besides smith was a top coach that did not want a shocking stage of parra tragic I meant parra magic to be on his record....

I also said that Hagan would've removed most of the stars for the last 9 minutes. Let's see how we go against the Chooks with a full strangth side.

No doubt mate were as trials dont mean nothing 16th march is were it counts....They need to win from their.
Like saints play souths charity shiled and in last 2 seasons we lost that and came 1 win away from the gf 2 years running. When they won the charity shield 3 yrs ago they missed the 8........

Weekend comes even though I will cheer for the saints, in way wanting them to lose ;) IRONIC

um....Smith was Parra coach for 10 years so he's got 10 years worth of Parra tragic on his record. And by the way, he was Saints coach before he came to Parra & the best he could do was to get saints to 2 losing grand finals - both Saints & Parra have got the Brian Smith stain on their records <_<

I was sitting right next to the Cowboys bay in all my Parra gear on that fateful semi-final day at Telstra stadium where we got hammered 29-0. What a top day

so you scored a few points - big deal. still CHOKED and got steamrolled. Same thing happens to you guys and Parra every year since 2000 - get ready for the same old choke come semi-final time this year. At least parra won a few comps in the '80's. Been a bit longer for you blokes...... :p

Good luck this season. We'll both need it.

any foxtel subscriber's here? catch all the action saints v souths Tomorrow 8pm GO DRAGONS!

A mate got us box seats to the game. Looking forward to my first footy for the new year.

Go Rabbitohs!

Screw you hippi! :D You cant support eels then support another team! although i know your stirring josh and as I live in newcastle I get it from family, friends and my LHBS, but it all fun and games just hope i get the last laugh :D

It's a slow and painful laugh knowing it was a bitter sweet win with the loss of gaz for the season, my tip is Hornby to 5/8th head at half when he returns I believe he will return early.

It wasn't really apparent what had happened to Gasnier at the game. He didn't look in a whole lot of pain on the big screen. Watching him warm up beforehand, it was pretty obvious he's no kicker. Looked like he's taken a crash course in drop punting and failed miserably. You guys can't get Head back quick enough. Firman would have been nice. Can't believe you chose Head over him in the first place.

no way ! Head over Firman anyday! As I suggested hornby to 5/8th, or maybe dean young and hornby stay at half, as dean young has played 5/8th before today :D
