Decided late tonight to brew again tomorrow.
Have a nice simple grain bill already weighted and crushed (90% Marris Otter, 10% Dark Wheat).
Trying to come up with a nice hop blend, but am having a brain freeze.
Thinking around 60IBU with a blend of Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe, Chinook.

Anyone got a great hop blend for an super easy drinking high end IPA ?

TIA,
Doc

Though not exactly to your specs, this one turned out pretty good and a hop junkie like yourself would probably find it pretty easy to drink.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Duff, that hop schedule looks the bomb. That'll do nicely.
Yep on holidays. Last week and this week, hence getting every cube, fermenter, keg full before going back to work next week.

Dough in not until early arvo, as I'm taking the boy to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie this morning :p

Ive been enjoying a simcoe/amarillo mix lately :chug: The last APA also had centennial which I think really overpowered the mix.

well i would double all those additions but that's just me... i think these sorts of hops only get good when you use too much of them

I have an AIPA on tap at the moment. Equal parts Simcoe, Amarillo, & Cascade. It's tasting fantastic :D

As I was hunting for the hops in the hops freezer, I stumbled across the Amarillo.
So a five hop combo when down (Centennial, Columbus, Amarillo, Chinook and Simcoe). The extra hop meant another addition so she came in around 70IBU, and boy does it smell and look awesome.

Thanks for the input guys.

Beers,
Doc
