Well, today is my birthday, and I have brother Jye around for a brew today and we are brewing up a 60 Shilling Scottish Ale. This is my first Scottish Ale on my newly constructed equipment. The gear is still basic but enough to get going with.
We are currently 1/2 way through the boil and have had a few beers already.
Batz, Jye brought around a bottle of your Scottish Ale, which is pretty good, and is hopefully a sign of what mine will come out like.
The recipe I'm brewing is Jamil's award winning recipe.
I have some close friends and work collegues coming over tonight for a BBQ, and more beer. If not too flogged I may check in later tonight. Bottoms up :chug: .
