Maybe they've been around for ages, but I only first sighted them a couple of days ago at the local Woolies when a mate offered beer for fixing his car.

Yep, 250ml Grolsch.

What's got me confused is the conflicting labelling...see below:

where are they brewed FL ? overseas or here ?? like hieno and becks are now..
 
Pilsner is the European spelling for the word. It's also a lager, but in the Czech style. Eg Pilsner Urquell

Can't understand why they would have the two names on it though.
 
My father: "Wow! I got a whole case of imported Grolsch for $39!!!"

Me: "Check out the size of the bottles!"

Yeah, I know Pilsener is a Lager style...but I guess you and I still share the same confusion regarding the labelling :)

Oh, Adam...$30 a case at Woolies last week...and since when do they sell beer at a good price? :lol:
