Uh, Detective Parson, madam.
The kegerator is built, I have kegs, regulator, lines, connectors etc etc and a brew ready to keg.
I was going to buy a fire extinguisher for the gas side of things today but talking to a mate yesterday, he said he had an extinguisher in his shed I could have.
Problem is, this shed is on a block of land up the coast and he may not be able to get to it for a couple of weeks. I'm determined to start kegging and wonder if the brew will keep in the keg until I get the gas organised.
Do you think there will be enough CO2 in the brew to drive off the O2 from the keg? Or is it best to leave it in secondary for a bit longer?
I want to get it out of the fermenter so I can get another brew on.
Campbell
