Damn Gas Leak!

I have just had my second gas leak :angry: Its really annoying me now, after the last one i bought new disconnects and seals for all my kegs, and its happened again. It leaks when the disconnect is on only. So i think im going to pull my 4 disconnects out of the fridge and run only one in the fridge. My question is if i do this and leave gas bottle off until i notice one of my kegs pours slower, then turn on for that session and back off again when finished, will i still be holding good enough carbonation this way or will it drop off due to not being hooked up to gas all the time??

That will work fine, the beer will stay gassed, and you greatly reduce the risk of losing your gas bottle.

Sweet so pissed off only got it filled 3-4months ago

If the gas leaked while hooked up to the kegs, also check your pressure relief on top of the keg is not leaking.

I only connect the gas in post every now and then, I force carb, then crank up to about 80kpa (picnic tap) then I can pour 2 or 3 beers without having to connect the gas again... Beer stays fizzy! I never bothered checking my set up for leaks..

+1, I had an issue similar and found it wasnt sitting properly.

Checked there it only leaks when the disconnect is on

The Same thing happened to me last night, I finished dinner and went to pour a nice cold one from my new keg setup and nothing. And I have only pushed out one keg from this new cylinder!!!

I assume the leak is on the cylinder maybe one of the posts like someone else suggested.

I though I was being so smart not buying the replacement seals when I bought the keg. "I am so smart, SMRT"

So I guess the best way to find the leak is to spray every thing down with detergent?

yeah just pool/spray water on all the fittings, etc and look for bubbles.
