He's been coaching since i can remember won 4 premerships for Essendon, supported countless aboriginal players and made numerous decions that have changed vfl / afl for life.

Big the **** up Kevin Sheedy possibly the greatest coach of all time. 8)

Keeping him for the rest of the season is interesting, not all that common really in these situations. I would think putting his assistant coach Gary Ayres at the helm to see wether he has the potential for new coach next year would be a wiser move. He's coached at the top at Geelong and Adelaide and although didn't have much success I'am thinking he would be pretty ready now to have another good crack at it, well worth while essendon giving him a free chance so to speak. If they were at all thinking about him you'd think they would do that so maybe they are not. Anyway makes sense to me.

Anyone taking bets and the new coach? I can't seem to find any odds on sportsbet yet?

Heres to sheeds anyway :chug: and here's to him and his team losing this weekend :chug: :chug:

 2 weeks in a row we get to play a team that has 'sacked' its coach albeit this time Sheeds isnt leaving but you'd reckon the boys will fire up for him.

That on top of the fact we havent beaten the bombers in Melbourne. Ever.

We can only hope the Bombers do it for Sheeds and put the Candy-tails in the gutter :p

cheers

Sheeds will be at Carlton next year.

Denis Pagan for Melbourne.

Essendon to beat the Crows by 20 points!

They did & you still haven't - despite Keppler Bradley's best efforts <_<

Actually I think I've got it worked out:

Bomber Thompson to Essendon

Steve Bracks to coach Geelong

Sheeds for premier :super:
