    KegLand Questions and Answers

Thanks for that, pretty sure my larger ID shanks are the threaded tube type..... but those are the ones i'm looking to replace. I think my 5mm ID ones are actually chrome plated brass and that must be why they were able to bore a smaller ID. They do pour great though. Cheers

Sodium Percarb 25kg shares Geraldton W.A.

I would be interested in shares of a bag of sodium metalsilicate to go with the sodium perc! then we pretty have made our own PBW. I have not been able to find a source for it in Gero or Perth that would do a 25kg bag or smaller.

yeah all my attempts at filter on the kettle outlet have failed, I now have the pick up tube right near the edge of the pot to collect after whirlpooling. I'm still biab though and want to get on the recirc 40-50L batches similar to this!

Love this setup - auto temp control with no extra vessel to clean! just rinse out hoses/pump and ready for next batch. I've been trying to sort out similar with my electric biab, atm I recirc to get perfect mash in temp (PID holds it until I'm ready). But I run into issues when recirculating and...

    Unmodified Garden Sprayer

Motorbike shops still sell metal tyre valves which bolt through as they are used on dirt bikes. Also you can use gravity to dispense instead of a pump :) just poor beers from below the liquid level in the sprayer. Might have to let some air in by pulling the safety valve every now and then...
