    Tempmate info needed.

I use a Tempmate temperature controller I bought from Ross about 16 years ago, but I don’t have any instructions. There are no parameters to set up, only the set temperature and the differential. They are a very good and simple controller. About 7 or 8 years ago the temperature display started...

Has anyone tried "Punchy Concentrated Natural Flavours"?

The first time l had it was at Tonbridge Wetherspoons at £2.19 a pint. Sometimes the cask ale can be a bit iffy at a ‘Spoons but there was plenty drinking it and it was beautiful. Had it at a few other pubs as well but not at that price.

Has anyone tried "Punchy Concentrated Natural Flavours"?

Tony, was the Plum Porter you brewed based on something like Titanic Plum Porter? Was in the UK late last year and had several pints of it, really enjoyed it.

    King Keg

Barls made some stupid statements. Tried to link the pressures in a hydraulic system to carbonating in a cube. Made himself look pretty stupid.

Converting from gas to electric kettle

I’ve had an electric fired brewery for about 15 years. I only have about 35L in the kettle at the start of the boil. I have two x 2Kw elements installed, not low density elements. They are controlled by a Sestos PID controller in manual mode, through a solid state relay. I usually run the...

    Kegland Flow Stopper

I carbonate in the keg and usually fill to about 10mm below the gas dip tube. Not sure how it would go if the gas dip tube was submerged. I suppose l could use the flow stopper and fill the keg and then run off enough beer to get below the tube. I might get one and have a play. Thanks for your help.

    Kegland Flow Stopper

Hello All I‘ve been considering the KL Flow Stopper set up. Does anyone use it, if so, how did you find it. I was looking to use it when transferring beer from the fermenter (using about 2 psi pressure) to a corny keg. Does it leave the keg completely full with no head space?

    50L keg uses

You can make a great letter box out of a 50L keg. Plenty of them around my way.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I've been using a couple of Perlick 650SS for 2 years, no problems with foaming at all. Really good tap but at about $100 a throw they are not cheap. Also have 3 SS Intertap FC taps that work well.
