    You could consider using 2nd hand kegs for long term aging, that's what I'm using and seems to be going ok. I just replaced the beer out tube with a gas diptube and attach the ss float onto it to draw samples etc off the top

    For the mini kegs, are you able to force carb on their side? I.e. there are no issues with the co2 going through the liquid rather than the headspace then into the liquid?

    The Duotight descriptions kinds confuse me - is there a duotight to reduce a 12mm line (which fits over the plastic fermenter taps) down to 8mm od size? Or alternatively 12mm to a ffl (to screw onto a disconnect)? Also, website wise, a 'remember me' button might be worthwhile including. Thanks!

    Ahh, i assumed you meant .012 whichd be near fg. Best to leave it at your fermentation temp until you're back.

    The extended time at 15 wont be bad for it, but if you're in a hurry to drink it you could d rest, then take it down to cold crash temps in 2 hits, friday night and saturday before you leave (which is what id do).
