    Riverside Brewery

Haven't had a chance to look around lately, but it would be great if Riverside could get some of their beers on tap in the local area - Parramatta.

    White rabbit IBA

It would be great if White Rabbit released some single batch beers in pint bottles like Little Creatures. I would love to taste there take on a Dark IPA and other brews.

    Little Creatures IPA

Went searching for this in the bottleshop and tried a taster. Nice hoppy burps but not very bitter for an IPA. Definitely worth a proper taste when I get around to cracking a bottle open. Probably would drink it instead of the Pale Ale but was a bit shocked at the price tag. Disappointing that...

    Coopers Celebration Ale

Tim Coopers: "...if it proved popular, strong consideration would be given to making it a regular Coopers line." I haven't tried this yet but sounds like an exciting addition to the coopers range... lets hope that it is popular and they do decide to keep it as a regular brew. A bit of a pity...

    Biab On Electric Stove

Hello, I am in the process of learning and hopefully moving to BIAB / All grain brewing. (Small batches around 10-20L of ale first off and I won't be brewing regularly). I want to keep things as simple as possible (both equipment and process wise). Am I asking for trouble trying to start BIAB...

'the Complete Homebrew Beer Book' By George Hummel

Looking for a beginners All Grain Book: Hello, Hope you don't mind me hijacking the thread. I have been brewing kits & bits and partial for a long while. I was never happy with just kit and always added loads of hops and some grains. Now I want to jump on board and go All Grain. I keep...

    James Squire - New Labeling

Unfortunately none of those beers you mention are bottled or regularly bottled. I think the labels are ok but do we really need the beer nickname in such large text. I would prefer if it said Porter, Amber Ale etc in the large text. Oh well I no longer drink the regular range of JS beers.

    Williams Pale Ale

Is this the same company as William Bull who make Red Angus Pilsner? From memory Red Angus was a nice drop.

    Scribbly Gum Lager & Portamarillo

Interested to hear more reviews/tastings of the scribbly gum lager as I am unable to try it myself. Did the smokiness resemble anything like the native bush? I wonder if they used eucalyptus smoked chips?

    Little Creatures Next Single Batch

I would love to see something like a Dark IPA, or a strong dark malty Stout with some complex but subtle hoppy berry flavours.

    Little Creatures Next Single Batch

Thanks - interesting to know. No wonder LCPA does not taste the same to me. I have been saying it no longer has that real lychee flavour and now I know it is probably due to them no longer using Chinook. Galaxy is a nice hop though! " The Galaxy plays the same role as the Chinook did, which...

    Little Creatures Next Single Batch

I have received an email from LC regarding the East Kent English Ale and was suprised to read that they use EKG Hops in there Pale Ale. I thought the Pale Ale was just cascade and chinook. (then again I haven't looked into it or tasted a LCPA in a long time.) "East Kent Goldings hops have...

    Anyone Recommend Homebrew Wine Making?

I have never brewed wine myself and am pretty sure it is harder to produce a nice wine compared to producing a nice beer. I know someone who did a bit of homemade wine... the problem was they didn't like wine so they can't exactly produce something good, especially when they use cheap grapes or...

    Little Creatures Next Single Batch

Grain Mill For Beer & Breakfast Cereals

I was under the impression that you needed a roller mill for brewing otherwise you get a flour consistency that just turns to mush and makes the beer very cloudy. (sorry for any ignorance on the matter) The possible added bonus of the roller mill would be the ability to make rolled oats or...
