    60 Litre Fermenter

Cheers raven19! I`m thinking of using Masterfoods spice jars to store some samples in ( the 30g ones ). Do I need more head room and would 50% cooled, boiled water plus 50% yeast do the job?

    60 Litre Fermenter

Thanks for the fast replies fellas! Breezy too - yeah, that makes sense. My last stout was done to 20 litres, so doubling that will be easy on the math. gundaroo - In this heat, my Brew Assistant has taken to wearing her bikini - easy on the eye, but won`t help much throwing 60 kg around...

G`day eteo, I was in your same position last Saturday and chose to lager my Euro Lager in secondary for a week or so. Then naturally carb for a month in a keg, then crack it in Sept for my birthday. I`ll be watching this thread as close as you! :) Cheers!

    Deciding On My 2nd Brew

Heya Lobby When I said I "throw it all in to dissolve" I should have added that I boil everything bar the can whilst the grains are steeping. I don`t worry too much about hops schedules atm. I steep the hop tea-bag for about 10 mins and throw the bag and fluid into the fermenter. Cheers.

    The Keg With No Gas...

The local Liquide Air has closed down their shop-front, so now a Kitchen Catering supplies company has taken over distribution. They`ve only being doing the gas for a fortnight and offered me this when I baulked at a contract. They photo-copied my license, got me to sign a form and away I went.
