How have the wheelie bins been insulated? Expanding foam?

Portable Kegging Setup Idea With Diagram

I'm working on large scale piping systems in my current job, and even for a million litres a day flow they only use 200mm polyethylene... I'd be surprised if anyone used 350mm PVC for any type of irrigation. I've only ever come across small polyethylene. But you learn something new every day.

Where would you get such large PVC pipe in such a small piece? Certainly not retail.

    Little Creatures Rogers

So you brew something based on a highly exclusive German style, and name your brewery after a German hop....brilliant! lol

    Little Creatures Rogers

I'm not sure if it's the same out your way, Rogers sells for ~$15 per six pack here, while the pale normally sells for ~$18. Pretty fair I think, given that there is probably only slightly less grain and hops added. Certainly no other midstrength on the market that is comparable IMHO.

    Little Creatures Rogers

Best thing about it is that its a midstrength. Means I can have a decent drop and still be designated driver. It's not like it tastes like a midstrength.

    Little Creatures Rogers

I've noticed the bottle quality has been poor lately. With a lot of 6 packs having a metallic taste. Probably more a result of retail storage tho, as it's great at the brewery...

    Biodiesel From The Brewery

I wouldn't recommend using a blender at all... Flammable vapours and vented electrical appliances don't mix.

    Biodiesel From The Brewery

I've been researching biodiesel production for quite a few years now, and am active on a number of biodiesel forums, as well as a member of the Western Australian Renewable Fuels Association (WARFA). I wouldn't suggest using your brewing equipment for making biodiesel. You really don't want...

    Hot Water Through Garden Hose?

I know that some scheme water contains disinfection byproducts that can react with plastic tap washers to produce off flavours in hot water (plastic-like flavours). There is potential for the same problem with hoses, so I would probably avoid it if possible, however I'm sure plenty of people do...

How Do You Guys Clear Your Beer Lines?

Probably more a problem in large vessels that are not designed to take pressure. I'd be surprised if a pressure vessel rated to take 130PSI would implode from a mere ~1atm pressure difference (vacuum).

Do You Filter Your Beer Through Fish?

Ahh good. They didn't the week before (just wines and beertails) Still, a monastery-style alehouse would have been perfect in Freo.

Do You Filter Your Beer Through Fish?

Looks like they haven't made a lot of progress on the place. I went there again a short while back (and looked on their website). If you didn't know it, you'd be hard pressed to discover they are a brewery. Have to hunt for the beers on the menu. You'd think they would take pride of place... It...
