    Coffin Keezer Assistance

my first thought are you’d have to cut the bar so keezer slides in and out. The insulating tape is ok, but you’d want to get some foam around the lines and then the insulation tape Id say. But that still doesn’t give the option of circulating air into coffin..

I just use a small manual pressure sprayer from bunnings with a liquid post screwed onto the spout for line cleaning. Works a treat.

    GUTEN

I’ve got a helix but giving up on it. Frustrates me to no end. I’d prefer to go back to the false bottom system I used to use on my robobrew v2

    GUTEN

Keen to try a false bottom with my Guten after blockages on last brew. I recall someone is using one but can’t find the post - which one fits the Guten 50L?

Keg modding for floating dip tube to begin dry hopping

But one is significantly cheaper than the other.. I use these tubes (and no I can’t recall which retailer I bought it from). I find them great for chucking in the fermenter and reducing the amount of hop material the floating dip tube has to work against

I got jack of moving it so just bought a second bottle. Handy to have a spare in case the keezer one blows

    Stir plate stirrer bar

I don’t boil mine, just starsan it and drop it in. When it comes time to pitching I just grab a small magnet and hold the bar in place through the glass when I tip the starter in to the wort

The keezer is finally up and running

Have you tested the temp in the tower? It may not be forcing enough air in as the air has nowhere to come out. My tower has an in hole and and out hole for air

The keezer is finally up and running

Are you cooling the tower? Mine is like yours - has a fan pulling air in, a fan pushing air out and another one down in the chest bit just circulating

Pretty sure it was about $49 Here’s a new 25kg pale ale sack in there

    KegLand Questions and Answers

As mentioned above I also got mine from Costco. They're great. Bought 3 and wish I had bought an extra 1-2. When they sit normal I find 25kg JUST starts to leak out when you open it, unless you are able to shake it and push some grain up to the back so it's on an angle.
