    I have more stored away in cardboard boxes under beds, in cupboards.I can't help myself when I see a nice glass for a dollar or two most I ever paid was $5 for one glass.I didn't set out to collect glasses it just sort of happened.

    I used one several year ago with no problems,I have also seen a few brewers use acetalene regs as lpg regs.

    Would a barb on the outlet just be to help pickup from closer to the bottom of the urn? Yes it also keeps the pick up close to the pot wall, closer than using a compression fitting and pick up tube. also looks neater.

    Try a 3/4 full keg you'll get a lot more fizz.

    Only fill the keg 3/4 full more head space and it will carbonate it quicker.

    I use one while recirculating to hold mash temp and to ramp up to mash out temp controlled by a STC 1000.Never had any sticking or burning issues.

    Received mine today all three had the thread machined to the bottom.They came with 2 seals each and work perfectly with just the 1 seal, about 1/2-3/4 of a turn of the knob depresses the soda stream pin enough to release co2. Very happy with them thanks to those who organised it Cheers Ratchie.
