    Heating - electric or gas

I use two of those elements, I previously just plugged them both in and away I went, worked fine drawing 18 amps, then my wife switches the kettle on. I am in a rental too but I still put a 15amp double gpo in the garage, just takes away any worries and I am sure the owners don't mind.

What is the best home brew starter kit? (not too expensive)

If I were to set up a fresh kit it would definitely be glass bottles with caps (too many flat pet bottles when I started), no tap fermenter, bench capper, racking cane with hose & bottling wand, sodium per carbonate and starsan, and an option to add bottle rinser and draining tree, maybe even a...

    Have I diluted my beer?

The only brew I have ruined was from an infection, have made plenty of brews that were not fantastic, I either drank them or mixed with other beers. Point being bottle it and enjoy the Learning curve

    No Chill - astringency help

I tried cube hopping for a bit and found it sometimes was harsh with no real hop presence. I now pull the hops out after a 15 min whirpool, way better.

    3 vessel build advice needed

I have a 88 litre pot and I always boil 65l down to 58l for 50l into cubes. I use 2 X 2200 watt elements and have no issue with a good boil, much more power will cause the boil to splash like in my 54 l pot were I have to turn 1 element off for the boil. More power would be great to get up to...

    Computer on the fritz

If you can swap out known good parts, ie psu, you can troubleshoot, if you don't have access its going to the shop. One thing you can try at home is unplug things one at a time, try fans, ram, graphics card etc. A good shop should diagnose fairly quickly and not charge too much

    Computer on the fritz

Maybe take the case sides off and see if it needs a good blow out, it needs good airflow to keep parts cool. Just that tiny bit of extra demand can cause a thermal shut down.
