I use sanitized stockings... only because I don't like the mess it leave in the bottom of the fermenter when you just chuck them in. When cleaning the fermenter out I always seem to get hoppy bits everywhere.

I'm still around (mainly lurking) and I do still plan on organizing the event it's just been a real issue getting a date for the venue where I'm free, my dads free and the venues available. I have started looking into other options last week if I can't book a date by end of next week
