    Accident With Priming

I had finished bottling a batch of stout the other day and realised as I was cleaning up that I had primed with maltidextrin instead of dextrose. Is this going to stuff up my wonderfully tasting stout? Ben

    Free Trade Agreement

I don't know about Malt in particular, but Australia had barely anything to offer in the USFTA anyway. (in terms of lowering our protection) We already have low tariffs and no basically no quotas. Aus Sugar would have accounted for ~20% of the benefit of the FTA to Australia. Basically, we are...

I picked up a couple of bags of specialty malt a while back. I have a couple of problems. 1. The chocolate and black malts aren't cracked 2. I haven't got a mill 3. It was from a HBS that just sells packets, not bulk, so i can't get them to crack it. 4. I would feel really bad about going to...

    What Is A Noble Hop?

So you would use noble hops to dry hop? Saaz, cascade etc. Could anyone then tell me what a good bittering hop for and American Pale Ale would be? Assuming that I am using Cascade for flavour and aroma.

    What Is A Noble Hop?

It seems that they are used for flavour / aroma. Is this correct? Or are they the 'original' brewing hops? What are the different types of noble hops?
