    LPG direct fired RIMS brewery

One of a kind gas powered direct fired RIMS brewery. For the brewer who wants full control. It features quality parts and workmanship inspired by the best design features from "Brutus 10" and "theelectricbrewery.com". I built this from the ground up based on months of research, planning and...

    Water Report Mandurah WA

I asked WC for a water test report representative of Duncraig, thinking I would receive Whitfords, and I received Yokine. Here it is. It's amazing how variable the water is comparing Whitfords and Yokine in the annual report

    PID PV reads incorrectly

I have these same controllers (labelled rkc Rex c100), setup with pt100 rtds, and was experiencing the same glitch. Changing df to 0 fixed it. Thanks!! Also I have 1 decimal place with these probes, but on another controller with a k thermocouple it has 0 dp.

    iSpindel Digital Hydrometer

Hi guys. I've built up a iSpindel circuit board using "stripboard", all seems fine. Not as pretty as the pcb, I'll probably order this at some point. Now it's time to get it working. I managed to flash it using Node MCU, and in a terminal window I can see: NodeMCU 0.9.5 build 20150318...

    Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone

My clone attempt turned out as a nice beer, although it certainly wasn't a Two Birds Sunset Ale, unfortunately. The flavours from the crystal malts were far too strong, and the hop flavour was also a bit rich. It didn't end up being the easy drinking summer beer I was hoping for! If I were...

    Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone

Kegged my clone attempt the other night. The smell coming out of the fermentor was pretty amazing, litterally smelt like tropical fruit juice! Taste was delicious, nice and fruity. Doesn't have the nice malty/biscuity taste of the Two Birds Sunset Ale yet. Will be drinking the final product in...

    Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone

Hmm, I did wonder about the hops, didn't have much of an idea so was all guesswork. Will see how it turns out. Fermentation is winding down now.

    Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone

    Show us your brewrig

My little brewery in action: Next upgrade is refinement of the temperature control, and re-calibration of the volume sight glasses. Then, I'll be building a stand for the whole set-up.

Help me design a recipe using Citra

I made my attempt at Sunset Ale on the weekend, brew went well. The citra hops smell amazing. It's currently fermenting along nicely. I will post the recipe on the forum when I'm on my home computer next. Two Birds Sunset Ale clone topic is here, though noone has replied yet...

Help me design a recipe using Citra

Great topic, I'm about to brew a red/amber ale with Citra and Cascate (Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone-ish) so very relevant. I think I'll aim for a hop schedule similar to that reccomended by Yob. Will let you know how it goes.

    Two Birds Sunset Ale Clone

Had a glass of the Two Birds Sunset Ale at the Freo Beerfest the other week and it was superb - excellent malty/biscuity character with tropical fruit tastes and aromas. So I have decided I'd like to put a batch on for a Christmas keg. Anyone have a good clone recipe? This is from the website...
