I use a 14.4kw 3 phase over the side element for my 250lt brewery. Works fantastic for this batch size for both HLT and Kettle. About 30 mins to raise kettle to boil and maintains a steady rolling boil superbly.

G'day
I am using an 815 March, slightly more capacity than the 809. Yes there is flow rate loss due to back pressure from the heat exchangers but not showstopping.

I use 2 of the Mashmaster Mark III in series and it cools 250lt to pitching temp in less than an hour using mains temp water. I recirc to kettle for about 10 mins to whirlpool and then single pass to fermenter. In the peak of summer I ran water through immersion chiller in ice bucket...
G'day
I had Grimwood make one for me but it is 14.4kW so a little more than you are after. Having said that, I found their service and product ot be great.

Make sure that you check beerbelly prices as I found many of them VERY competetive compared to Prochem when sourcing fittings for a pilot scale brewery that I am putting together.

Folks
Days off my first AG. Just one quick question......what is a good starting point to use for mash efficiency in Promash? My set-up is an eletric urn HLT and cooler mash tun with braid manifold, I am going to be batch sparging.

Where and how much did you pick up the cooler for? Just looking at sourcing a mash/lauter tun myself and am also in Melbournetown.
