    That's the theory of it. I doubt it would hurt to give it a spray and put it back in place. I wonder how many people pull the cube seal out to clean it. Probably the majority of people I would guess.

    Yes I do no chill. Mystery solved. Probably not the best thing to happen, doubt the top of the rubber would see any starsan when I clean the cube. Another item to pull apart and add to the list of things to clean on brew day. Cheers for the solving the mystery.

    I just finished my hop trellis. I'm happy with it! Hops are a bit close perhaps. This year is a bit of an experiment for my first year with hops. I cant fix the rotation on this Samsung Tab so you just going to have to view it side ways!

    Who cares what anyone else thinks? Dont like my home brew? Turn your nose up at my home brew? Dont drink it! Bring your own god damn beer around, or drink tap water. It is what it is. Beer brewed at home, hence the age old term, 'Home brew'.

    If you use Starsan correctly, make sure it makes contact with every surface your beer comes into contact with, boil your wort, ensure a healthy fermentation and sealed fermentation, you should rarely to never have an infection. I think I have had one infection that took months to come through...

    Have you used that sized pot before Yob? I have planted mine in similar sized ones, Im hoping they are big enough.
