Keezer / Chest freezer with collar

Moving house and don't have room for my keezer so it has to go. It has a collar fitted with holes drilled for 4 taps. Fits 3x19L corny kegs + 1x9.5L - only because I have long shanks. If you had shorter shanks or right angle connectors it would fit 4x19L. Comes with a 4 way CO2 manifold...

    Yeast Bay Funktown Pale

I thought US-05 / WLP100 / 1056 are the Chico strain. GigaYeast (GY054 Vermont IPA) or The Yeast Bay (Vermont Ale) are the Conan strain.

    Different wort aeration kits

That was my take out. It's designed for shielding (inert) gasses only.

    Different wort aeration kits

OK, so I'm glad I saw this thread. I have a disposable Tradeflame O2 cartridge and Tradeflame regulator conversion kit from Bunnings, which I now know is not suitable for oxygen so I won't be using it any more. Can I just unscrew the reg off the bottle while full or are these a single use deal...

    Help on cider

    1. You are a bit on the low end of the temp range for an ale yeast, but if it is still working away I would just let it do its thing. One week is not overly long, and a low and slow ferment could give you a cleaner result anyway. If you are able to bump it up a couple of degrees it will help it...

    Washed yeast autolysis

So stress do to environmental conditions is a cause of mutation? Interesting. I knew mutations were more likely to occur with each generation. This is the second time I have washed this yeast, so maybe that combined with a few months of storage could be a problem.

    Washed yeast autolysis

Hi brewers, I have a German Bock lager yeast that I harvested and washed from the yeast cake of a Vienna lager brewed in March, so 3-4 months ago. I'm brewing an Oktoberfest soon, so I pulled this out of the fridge last night to spin up a starter and see if it was any good. It had a bit of a...

    Full kegs but no beer...

Oh yeah, the gas and liquid posts aren't the same. The gas post is marked with a notch like this: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=157295&d=1383250488

    Full kegs but no beer...

The dip tube shouldn't move in relation to the post or poppet, and even if it is against the bottom of the keg it wouldn't form a watertight seal, so i don't think thats your problem. Are you sure your kegs are pressurised? One way valve the wrong way round? Are you sure your disconnects are...

    20l No chill cube

The Willow jerry cans have a larger opening. Or maybe the more cube like cubes would suit your fridge.

    Hops for hop boutonnière

Hey mate, I used some of my homegrown Chinook flowers for my boutonniere in March. That was perfect timing because it was just around harvest, but in September you wont get any fresh flowers. I think I have some in the freezer still on the stem, which could suit your purpose, but they will...
